On Halloween students, faculty, trick-or-treaters and community members rushed to the Arts and Communications building on the University of La Verne campus to have their last chance at stardom on “Halloween Live.”
With the apparent departure of La Verne’s self-proclaimed favorite hillbilly host Billy Bob, played brilliantly by University of La Verne Professor of Communications Don Pollock, the 2006 edition of “Halloween Live!” had a little bit of a different feel this year.
With a giant spider guarding the entrance and a parade of skeletons leading the way, the University of La Verne television studio aired the sixth annual Halloween Live cable show Monday. Billy Bob, La Verne’s favorite hillbilly, returned to host the show with a partner this year, Gary the Gorilla.
The University of La Verne's Communications Department held its fifth annual “Halloween Live” on Halloween night in the Arts and Communications Building. Children were all smiles after making an appearance on LVTV3 and receiving candy from Billy Bob, the hillbilly host of “Halloween Live.”
