Kathy Lamkin, professor of music, was honored for her 34 years of service at the University of La Verne in a choral concert May 17 in Morgan Auditorium.
Faculty and students packed into the President’s Dining Room to hear Kathy Lamkin give her last faculty lecture on Monday before she retires after 34 years at the University of La Verne.
Sundays at the Morgan featured a “Best of La Verne” recital where faculty and performance scholarship students performed a variety of music styles like romanticism and musical theater Sunday.
Sundays at the Morgan this month featured the La Verne Artist-in-Residence Grace Zhao. She performed a solo piano concert with six sets of pieces composed by Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and more Friday in Morgan Auditorium.
