Theatre in Community

Students of the Theatre and Community class will perform short plays at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Dailey Theatre. The performance is under the supervision of director of theater Steve Kent and artist-in-residence Alma Martinez.

Chamber Orchestra

The La Verne Chamber Orchestra will perform under the supervision of Danielle Cummins at 7 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Audi­torium. Admission is free.

‘Lamkin Legacy Concert’

The music department presents “The Lamkin Legacy Concert” performed by the La Verne Chamber Singers at 6 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. This concert is in tribute to retiring Professor of Music Kathleen Lamkin.

West African Drum

The La Verne West African Drum Ensemble, directed by Steve Biondo will perform at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Morgan Auditorium. General admission is $5 and students are free.

Senior Video Screening

The Communications Department will be screening the department’s senior broadcast video projects on at 8 p.m. on May 23 in LaFetra Auditorium. The videos feature horror, thriller and comedy.

Friday Nights Live

The city of Claremont presents live performances by Squeakin’ Wheels, Remember Then and Claremont Unified School District instrumental music groups from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at three venues in the Claremont Village.
