To help raise awareness for different issues, the Intercultural Festival and Peace Fair was held from April 24-26 all around campus. Coordinated by the International Student Center, the four events each corresponded to the theme, "Come to the Table."
Students gathered on Wednesday, April 4, in Founders Auditorium to attend Natalie Ganther's senior recital. Ganther, along with backup singers Kia Hamm on tenor, Nikole Rogers on alto and her twin sister Nicole on soprano, managed to bring the house down.
Five members of the University of La Verne choir program returned from San Antonio, Texas, Sunday after participating in the 2001 National Multicultural Honor Choirs Concert. Two hundred students were chosen from a field of 800 nationwide to perform for the first ever American Choral Directors Association National Convention.
