The University of La Verne softball team went 4-3 over spring break, including 1-3 in Hawaii, ending with a record of 28-13 overall and 11-4 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The University of La Verne softball team was flawless last weekend, going 6-0, including 4-0 in the month-long Chapman Sun West Tournament. This week it raised its winning streak to eight games after beating Willamette University twice Tuesday, 8-7 and 13-5.

This past week, the University of La Verne was able to earn a win over Rensselaer Polytechnic from New York, 8-0, on March 9, along with wins over Albion College 8-2, and Texas Lutheran 5-1, on March 11, helping to establish ULV as a force to be reckoned with in the Sun West Tournament.

The University of La Verne women's soccer team ended the first round of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play with a confidence-boosting win over Redlands in rough combat Saturday morning.

It was a busy week for the University of La Verne women's soccer team who competed in three Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matches against Occidental College, Pomona-Pitzer and Whittier College.

After their third straight year of controlling the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, the softball team took its game to Tacoma, Wash., to battle it out with the top teams in their region. After two days and four games, the women would return to La Verne with a solid third place finish.
