Students give blood to save lives

"Ouch," yelled Kathryn Przybylska, a freshman who admits to liking the pain. The Red Cross Blood Drive was held Tuesday, Nov. 4, in the Old Gym, where approximately 40 pints of blood were collected. Maureen Pray, Health Center nurse, worried that the school was not collecting enough blood, but a Pomona Red Cross representative informed her that for the amount of people who sign up and walk in, the University of La Verne donation level is average.
