The stage was set Monday night for a Tropical Paradise. Tiki torches lined the walkway to Founders Hall and soft Hawaiian music set the tone for the first of the annual Homecoming events: Illumination.

The Leadership Education and Development program and the Office of Student Activities collaborated to create Leadership Training Week, which took place from Sept. 30 to Oct. 4. Club and organization members were required to attend at least one seminar of the week for funds to be released.

Following allegations of logistical problems and rumors of voter manipulation, the Associated Student Federation Forum elections were postponed last week and held this Tuesday and Thursday.

It is February and the last thing on any student's mind is the start of the next school year. But the new Orientation Week Leader coordinators Stacey Corso and Sarah Negrete are already planning next year's schedule.

All Greek organizations gathered this week to celebrate Greek Week, which took place the week of May 5-11. Greek Week started on Saturday, May 5 with the barbecue and All Greek softball tournament from 2 to 7:30 p.m in which all fraternities and sororities competed against each other. Four teams were composed of 20 members each.

The residence halls at the University of La Verne have used Campus Link, a phone service provider, for close to 10 years.
