Jazz Band Concert

The Fullerton College Music Department will present “We Are Together” featuring The Lemon Street Stompers and Dixieland Jazz Band, under the direction of Richard Cruz, on April 25, at 8 p.m., in the Fullerton Campus Theatre. For more information call (714) 992-7294.

‘Pains of Youth’

Performances for “Pains of Youth,” by Ferdinand Brucker, will begin April 30. The play deals with young people in complex relationships, their anxieties, problems and dilemmas as they leave college and confront life.

The play will be featured at the Dailey Theatre Main Stage at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $8, and $5 for students and seniors.

‘Moby Dick’

The adapted version of Orson Welles from the novel by Herman Melville and directed by Robert Jensen will start May 7-9, 14-16 at 8 p.m. in the Bronwyn Dodson Theatre on the Fullerton College Campus, 321 E. Chapman Avenue. To reserve your complimentary tickets, call Sally Clausen at (714) 992-7298.

Poetry wanted

Poetry entries are being accepted for the 1998 book project entitled, “Poems by the Fireside.” Submissions of one or two original poems of 24 lines or less on any subject can be entered. They will not be returned. This is not a poetry contest. The deadline is August 31, 1998. Submissions can be sent to Infinity Publishing Company, 17400 South Blvd., Gulfport, MS 39503.
