Madden tournament

A Madden football tournament will be held at 12 p.m. Friday in the Campus Center ballroom. Only the first 32 people who sign up for the tournament will be allowed to play. For more information contact Roger Acevedo at 909-593-3511, ext. 4423.

Sorority fundraiser

Las Posadas

The Latino Student Forum will host Las Posadas from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 4 at Davenport Dining Hall. Arts and crafts, entertainment and refreshments will be available at the event. For more information, email lsf.club@laverne.edu.

Home tour

The 2009 La Verne Holiday Home Tour will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20 and available for purchase at Dippin’ Dots and Post Masters Plus in La Verne. The proceeds from the holiday home tour will benefit Bonita High School’s Grad Night celebrations.

Open house

Old Town La Verne’s annual Holiday Open House will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Nov. 28 at D and Third streets. Free photos with Santa Claus will be available from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. A street and tree lighting ceremony will be held at 5:30 p.m. at Mainiero Square. For more information, call City Hall at 909-596-8706.

Tree farm

The Heritage Park Christmas tree farm will be open every day from Nov. 28 to Dec. 24. Weekday hours are noon-8:30 p.m. and weekend hours are 9 a.m.-8:30 p.m. The park is located at 5001 Via de Mansion in La Verne.
