Construction closes First Street
A portion of First Street, from B Street to the former site of Lot F, was shut down on May 6 due to construction of the new dorm. The street will remain closed until the fall 2011 semester.
Doskow honored by Federal Bar Association
University of La Verne College of Law Professor and Dean Emeritus, Charles Doskow, was honored by the Federal Bar Association Inland Empire Chapter, and given the 2011 Erwin Chemerinsky Defender of the Constitution Award. Doskow began teaching at La Verne Law in 1979 and still instructs students on Constitutional Law and Professional Responsibility.
Faculty lecture series
Associate Professor of Anthropology Felicia Beardsley will present the final faculty lecture of this year’s series at 12:03 p.m. Monday in the President’s Dining Room.
