A VCR was reported stolen from room 101-A of the AAIC Building Wednesday, Nov. 29, at 10:15 a.m., after being seen last on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Audio-Visual student worker Eric Gleason, a junior, left the VCR, which was on a stand along with a television set, in the room at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday and it was reported stolen at 10:15 the next morning by junior Geremy Infrancia.
Security said there was no forced entry into the building and it was left open during the day of the theft. However, the only item stolen from the building was the VCR from the stand.
Tom Erickson, interim director of public safety and transportation, said, “When he [Infrancia] went to get the T.V. and VCR, only the T.V. was there and the VCR was missing.”
The thief was not apprehended by police. “There is no suspect at this time,” said Erickson. “At this time we don’t have any leads.”
