Le French Club is sponsoring “Le French Night,” a dance in the Supertents on Friday Nov. 17 from 9 p.m.-1 a.m.
There will be a DJ and non-alcoholic mixed drinks. Admission is free for ULV students and $2 for guests.
Band Competition
Musician magazine is accepting entries for its Best Unsigned Band Competition, offering unsigned bands and artists the opportunity to get their music heard by people in the music industry.
Each band must submit a two-song cassette. Winners will be featured in the pages of Musician and on Musician’s Best Unsigned Bands CD. Top-placing artists also receive several thousand dollars worth of recording equipment.
The deadline for entries is Dec. 31. Interested bands and artists can call (800) 282-7096 to receive information, rules and an official entry form.
