ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne’s Associated Students Federation met Wednesday in the West Dining Room at 9:10 a.m. The Forum attended to the discharge of business and largely therein to the discussion of upcoming events.

Snowboard Club

The Snowboard Club has been given its allocated money, but is looking for an adviser to go on the trip to Mammoth.

ASF Elections

Applications for the ASF elections will be available Monday, April 3. All positions are open and applications are due April 6.

Events

·Registration for the Variety Show/Slide Show on May 4 will be held all next week. Pictures for the slide show are due April 14.

·As previously noted, Bowling Night will be April 11 at Chaparral Lanes in San Dimas. It is free to students. The Forum is also planning to hold a skating night, possibly on April 25.

·Spring Fair is April 13, in conjunction with “Detour to ULV,” a program for commuter students.

·A debate entitled “Has feminism gone too far?” will be held today in Founders Auditorium at 11:30 a.m.
