ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met last Wednesday in the West Dining Room at 9:15 a.m.

The Forum attended to the discharge of business and largely therein to the allotment of funds to numerous clubs and organizations for special events.

Resolutions

·The Forum allocated $500 for Circle K International to send four people to a training convention.

·ASF approved a $9,000 budget for Spring Fair. The April 13 event will run in conjunction with Commuter Day.

·ASF Risk Fair 2000, to be held March 30, received a $300 budget.

·The Snowboard Club received $1,500 for its annual snowboarding trip, a 10-person venture to Mammoth.

·The Forum granted $320 to the International Student Organization. The club is planning an outreach-based trip to Rosarito during Spring Break.

·ASF voted to assume responsibility for payment of spiritual healer Estella Román, for whom Elena Cardeña organized a return trip to ULV. The Forum allocated $400 for payment to Román.
