The Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum meets every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the West Dining Room and the ASF Conference Room.
The Forum discussed the results of Homecoming Week.
The Advocacy Board announced three upcoming speakers.
·Jim Carroll, an inspirational speaker, will appear April 25. Time and location will be announced.
·Speaker Kerry Kennedy will be addressing the subject of human rights. Time, date and location will be announced.
·For Body Image Awareness Week, Jean Kilborne will speak on Feb. 28.
ASF sponsored a story teller who told ghost stories this Tuesday.
The Activities Board asked for the allocation of $21,000 for Winter Extravaganza to be held on Dec. 1. The money was allocated.
Daniel Loera, of the Institute for Multicultural Research and Campus Diversity, presented the forum with a plan to address the issues of Hate Crimes in the future.
Public relations representative Margaret Tipton discussed the ASF webpage in the works. More work will be done to the web page, which should be finished by the end of January Interterm.
