The Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum meets every Wednesday in the ASF Conference Room. This past Wednesday however, the Forum met in the West Dining Room from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m
Bowling Night Moved
The Forum discussed possibly canceling Wednesday’s scheduled event, Bowling Night. Taking student opinion into consideration the Forum instead decided to try and change the event from Chaparral Lanes in San Dimas to Upland Bowling. This was due to miscommunication and lack of planning.
Barbecue Postponed
ASF also had to postpone Monday’s scheduled barbecue until Friday because of miscommunication and lack of planning. The Pep Rally will take place Friday in the Quad instead. The Dance Team and cheerleaders will perform. All commuters eat for free.
Model UN Proposal
The Forum tabled a proposal brought by Model United Nations asking for $5,000 in funding for an upcoming international conference.
La Vernacula
The Forum allocated $375 to La Vernacula magazine for a visiting Argentian writer who will address several classes in November. The money will cover her honorarium.
Haunted House
ASF will sponsor a Halloween Haunted House on Oct. 30. Students with a valid ID are free.
