Music of Faith
The music department will kick off its Faculty Recital series with Timothy Durkovic, piano, and Carol Stephenson, soprano, at 8 p.m. tonight in Founders Auditorium. The concert will feature settings of religious texts from around the world. Admission is free for students and $5 for general admission.
Salsa Dancing
Sevilla Nightclub of Riverside presents a Back to School College Latin Night on Oct. 26. Cost is free for students over age 18 with a college I.D. before 11 p.m. Free salsa lessons begin at 8:30 p.m. The club will feature a performance by the Otera Dance Company as well as salsa and hip-hop music by resident and guest DJs. “Bush Vs. Kerry: What are the Issues?” will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 28 in the President’s Dining Room. Bring your lunch and come to hear political science professors Jason Neidleman and Gitty Amini discuss important issues in the upcoming election. Speak Out
