‘The Flower Society’

The theater department presents “The Flower Society” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret. The play was written and directed by senior Maryanne Householder. Admission is free, and donations will go toward Children of the Night.

Electronic Acoustic Music

The 23rd annual Ussachevsky Memorial Festival of Electro Acoustic Music Festival is at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Pomona College’s Lyman Hall. This festival involves a unique mixture of acoustic instruments and electronic equipments from computers. Admission is free.

Quilt Exhibit

The “American Spring: A Cause for Justice” exhibit runs through Sunday in the Bridges Auditorium at Pomona College. The event uncovers the reactions to the Trayvon Martin shooting in Florida through story quilts by the Fiber Artists of Hope Network.

‘Music for Cello and Piano’

The Harvey Mudd Concert Series presents “Music for Cello and Piano” at 8 p.m. Sunday in Drinkward Recital Hall at Harvey Mudd College. The concert by pianist Gayle Blankenburg and cellist Susan Lamb Cook will include pieces by Beethoven, Rachmaninoff and Caeron-Wolfe. Donations are welcomed.

Artist Reception

Artist Antrese Wood will discuss his painting and photo exhibition, “A Portrait of Argentina,” 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona. This exhibition will run through March 28.
