‘The Dog’s Will’

The theater department presents “The Dog’s Will” by Brazilian playwright Ariano Sassuna at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday in Dailey Theatre. The play is directed by guest director Alma Martinez.

LaVernapalooza

ASULV and CAB present the 6th annual LaVernapalooza concert featuring 2Chainz as this year’s headliner at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the Fox Theater in Pomona. Tickets are $35 at the door for guests.

Music Summer Session

The music department is offering summer session classes for the first time at La Verne. Students looking to complete their fine arts elective can now take Guitar Workshop MUS 180 and Intro To Digital Audio Production I (Pro Tools) MUS 345 this summer.

‘Icons of Music’

The Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company’s annual spring concert introduces “Icons of Music: Legends, Divas & Superstars” at 7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday at Pomona College in Bridges Auditorium. The event features 100 dancers and solos performing iconic hit songs

Jazz concert

The Harvey Mudd College Concert series presents a jazz music concert “The Music of Billy Strayhorn” at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harvey Mudd College in Shanahan Center.

Live Music

The Friday Nights Live concert series begins again this week from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday in the Claremont Village. This year’s performers are scheduled to include Fab 8, Jackson Family Band and Vinyl Number.
