‘Baal’

The theater department presents “Baal” by Bertolt Brecht, opening at 7:30 p.m March 25 in Dailey Theatre. The play will run through March 28. The story revolves around Baal, a drunken poet, who contradicts the practices of the bourgeois society.

Piano Solo

The Sundays at the Morgan series introduces ULV professor and award-winning international solo artist Grace Xia Zhao as she will perform selected piano pieces at 6 p.m. April 12 in Morgan Auditorium. A $20 donation is suggested.

Noon Concert

Pomona College Music Department presents Friday Noon Concert Series: “Music of Dowland, Seiber, Smith and Villa-Lobs” 12:15 p.m. Friday at the Scripps College in Balch Auditorium.

Gallery

Local artist Aleta Jacobson exhibits her non-objective and expressive artwork 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 20, 21, 27 and 28 at the 2nd Story Gallery in the Historic Walker House in San Dimas. Jacobson will share her methods and techniques during artist reception on both Friday evening events.

‘Table Manners’

Claremont artist Anne Seltzer uncovers her new art exhibit “Table Manners” 6 p.m. Friday at the Bunny Gunner Gallery in Claremont. The exhibit consists of paintings of different forms of table settings.

International Exhibit

The 11th annual Women International Exhibit and Yearbook 2015 will have an opening reception and award night at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Latino Art Museum in Pomona Arts Colony. The exhibit will run through March 28.
