Poetry and Translation

The Poetry and Translation Symposium event is 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday at the Campus Center. It will feature poetry readings, discussions and conversations in different languages.

Everyday Photography

The Carlson Gallery of Photography presents its final exhibition of the academic year, “Photography and the Everyday” through the end of May. This exhibit marks the 25th anniversary of the Carlson Gallery.

‘The Dog’s Will’

The theater department presents “The Dog’s Will” by Brazilian playwright Ariano Sassuna at 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret. The play is directed by guest director Alma Martinez.

‘Scientific Magic’

The “Scientific Magic” exhibition will run through May 15 at the Harris Gallery. This exhibit features the recent sculptural paintings of Sarah Cromarty and photography works of Christopher Russell.

Scripps Dance

The Scripps College Dance Department presents its annual spring concert choreographed by students and faculty at 2 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m and 8 p.m Saturday in the Garrison Theater at Scripps College. General admission is $10.

Choir and Orchestra

French composer Gabriel Fauré’s “Pavane” and “Les Djinns” will be performed at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Bridges Hall of Music at Pomona College. Admission is free.
