The traditional undergraduate tuition for the 2016-17 school year will increase 3.48 percent, from $38,560 to around $39,902 per year, President Devorah Lieberman said in an emailed statement Wednesday.
This is the lowest tuition rate increase in the last 10 years, Lieberman said. The 2015-16 school year saw a 4.9 percent tuition increase.
Employees in good standing will receive a 2 percent salary increase, and adjunct faculty and classified employees will receive “additional support,” Lieberman said.
According to the statement, adjunct faculty will receive an average 5.5 percent salary increase per course, and any classified staff who are behind the Compensation Task Force-recommended benchmarks will also receive increases.
