Commencement Tickets

Commencement ceremony tickets for main campus undergraduates will be available for pick up from Monday through May 18 in Woody Hall. The University of La Verne’s three commencement ceremonies will be held May 24 at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario.

Pacific Islanders Day

Food and culture from the Pacific Islands will be showcased from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in Davenport Dining Hall. The first 50 commuters will eat for free. For more information, call 909-593-3511, ext. 4424.

Mock Interviews

Career Services will hold mock interviews Tuesday in the Campus Center Ballroom to give students feedback about their interview skills. Two interview sessions will be held, the first from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information call 909-593-3511, ext. 4054.

Soakfest 2012

Students will be able to have fun in the sun with inflatable water toys and snow cones at the Campus Activities Board’s Soakfest 2012 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the University Mall. For more information call 909-593-3511, ext. 4422.

Mother Nature

CAB will celebrate Mother Nature by allowing visitors to decorate flower pots and plant flowers from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the University Mall. For more information call 909-593-3511, ext. 4424.

CAB event takes breakfast for dinner to a new level

The Campus Activities Board showed the 1985 film “The Breakfast Club” in the La Fetra Lecture Hall on Tuesday. The event consisted of many food options, including a build your own mini-pancake bar, a variety of breakfast burritos, an iced coffee bar and a hot chocolate bar.

Pride plays bingo in welcoming fashion

The Campus Activities Board, in a two-part event, hosted Pride Bingo on Tuesday evening at the Quay Davis Executive Board Room. 

Sustainability conserved by ULV students

The Campus Activities Board hosted the Earth Day event that drew students and faculty members who were interested in learning about environmental sustainability to Sneaky Park on Wednesday.
