Sagehens shut out Leopards

“They’re the team to beat,” said senior Jessica Baker following an energetic game in a match against Pomona-Pitzer at the Nancy Blickenstaff Tennis Pavillion. Baker and her doubles partner, junior Francesca Chiaromonte, lost to the Sagehens, 8-2, on April 6. Unfortunately, the Leopards also lost their eight other matches against Pomona-Pitzer that day. The Leopards attended the Redlands Invitational meet last weekend against Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opponents like Chapman, Pomona-Pitzer, Redlands and many non-conference schools.
