ULV Faculty Recital
Grace Xia Zhao will perform on the piano tonight at 8 p.m. in Founders Auditorium as part of the music department’s faculty recital series. General admission is $5; free for students.
Harris Gallery
The Harris Gallery has a new exhibit up presenting the work of California artist Phillip K. Smith, III. The exhibit titled, “Organic Geometries,” includes drawings and models of his public art projects.
Photography Gallery
The Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography presents “Sheltered,” an exhibition of photographs by Los Angeles Times photojournalist Karen Tapia. The exhibit features photos of the wildfires in Orange County and shows life and death moments for fire-fighters.
‘Pippin’
The play “Pippin” will be presented at the Duarte Performing Arts Center, starting Thursday and ending Nov. 8. It features Caitlin Lujan, a senior communications major, and her mother Terri Lujan, who is the associate producer. All shows are at 8 p.m., with a matinee Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 presale and $16 at the door. For more information visit www.mbprod.net.
Michael Ryan concert
The Inland Empire Community Concert Association presents Michael Ryan, adjunct music professor, performing “Gypsy Passion.” The concert will be in the Gardiner Spring Auditorium at Chaffey High School this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Individual tickets are $15; 18 years of age and under free.
