Cabaret LIVE!

The theater department will host its first Cabaret event Wednesday at 10 p.m. The competitive game night in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theatre will have a theatrical twist and offers prizes to winners of the games.

Phi Sigma Sigma ‘Phive K’

The women of Phi Sigma Sigma will hold their first philanthropy event Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. at Ortmayer Stadium. The sorority’s first Phive K benefit walk will support the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation. Claremont Ghost Walk

The city of Claremont will host its third annual Ghost Walk Oct. 3 and 4 at 6 p.m. in the Claremont Village. The family-friendly, haunted tour will last 75 minutes. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at Bert & Rocky’s Cream Co., 242 Yale Ave. in Claremont. Only cash and checks will be accepted. For more information visit claremontghostwalk.com.

Animal Shelter Fundraiser

Cyclinsanity will host a fundraiser Sunday to help Friends of Upland Animal Shelter after the shelter’s budget was cut by 41 percent. Thirty minute rides will be offered for any size donation and all proceeds are given to the shelter. The fundraiser will be held between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. at 2855 Foothill Blvd. in La Verne.
