Living with fear in America
The ULV community is invited to attend a guest luncheon and lecture from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the West Dining Hall.
Matthew Witt, assistant professor of management and administration will be presenting a talk entitled “Taxing hope: How a political economy of fear is gripping and ripping our country.”
Sex, Drugs, STDs and free snacks
Campus student organizations have joined together to sponsor an informative and interactive discussion of sexuality, substance use, and prevention strategies to reduce the risks of contracting a sexually transmitted disease.
Current epidemics and risk factors will be discussed openly, as will stories of people affected by STDs.
Students are encouraged to attend between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Monday in the President’s Dining Room.
