ULV students demonstrate a plea for peace

More than 20 students and more than half a dozen faculty members participated in the anti-war walkout on Thursday, Oct. 11, at 10:45 a.m. as a form of protest against the recent bombings in Afghanistan. The participants met at the Rock to discuss their ideas, concerns and thoughts. Among the ideas discussed were alternatives to war and how this type of action might promote an endless cycle of violence. Among those participating were Winona E.
