The postponement of the Benefit Punk Show, scheduled for March 2, caused disappointment for its organizers as well as students.
An ongoing effort by the Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum; Michael Houdyshell, coodinator of campus activities and commuter programs; and the show coordinators have been taking place to try and get the show rescheduled.
According to Houdyshell, the tentative date for the show is May 5, if negotiations with city officials go as planned.
He said ULV will present the concert information to the city and will attend a city council meeting scheduled for April 2.
Members of ASF, Houdyshell and “loyal supporters” will be present at the city council meeting.
