The Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum met on Wednesday, March 14, in the ASF conference room to discuss next semester’s Forum budget, upcoming events, and the allocation of funds for newly proposed events by students and organizations.
ASF will leave $10,000 for next year’s Forum.
ASF allocated $500 to Iota Delta Sorority for this year’s Clothesline Project-Violet.
Phi Delta Theta received $1,850 from ASF for The Walk for Lou Gehrig’s Disease fundraiser taking place on the track in Ortmayer Stadium, which is set for Saturday, April 21.
ASF agreed to appoint an ASF member to a new Environmental Committee intending to promote recycling and environmental awareness on campus.
Old business brought to the table included Intramurals, Commuter Daze, Body Image Awareness, ASF Benefit Show, Violence Speaker, Liaisons, LEAD/ASF banquet, the Leopard, an amplifier for the Student Center, and the Greek Week/ Intramural Display.
Upcoming events to look out for is Krispy Kreme Donut Day on March 29.
