Prism Review Launch Party

A launch party for this year’s issue of La Verne’s literary journal, Prism Review, will be held at 6:30 p.m. on May 13 in the Harris Art Gallery. Staff members will read their favorite pieces and refreshments will be served.

Academic Regalia Sale

All graduating students can purchase their academic regalia through the Commencement Services Office from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 10 in the Campus Center. Items for sale include caps, gowns, hoods, tassels and year emblems.

Video Screenings

The communications department will host two video screenings on May 22. Both shows include the best work done in television by students and graduating seniors. The student video screening will start at 3 p.m. and the senior video screening will start at 7:30 p.m., both in ACB 212. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.

Ready to graduate? You better be ready to pay

In order to graduate from the University of La Verne, students must complete all of their course requirements – and pay a $140 fee, which does not cover the cost of the regalia package that a student chooses to purchase.
