Photo Exhibit
Photographs from “East Side Stories: Gang Life in East L.A” and “Juvenile” by Joseph Rodriguez will be on display in the Carlson Gallery. The exhibit runs through Oct. 12.
‘Visible’
“Visible” is a group exhibition in the Harris Gallery featuring Los Angeles artist Joel Biel, Patrick Lee, Mark Dean Veca and Eric Yahnker. The exhibition features pop culture figures and absurdities by the artists. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The exhibit runs through Oct. 18.
909 Film Festival
The third annual 909 Film Festival features six videos produced by University of La Verne students and will be screened at 5 p.m. Sunday in the Arts and Communications Building room 212. Sunday Music Concert Series
The Sunday Music Concert Series will feature music from Reed Gratz on piano, Steve Alaniz on saxophone and David Vorobyov on bass at 6 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.
‘Silly Sundays’ Open Mic
‘Silly Sundays’ an Open Mic featuring Host Laniea D will be at Flappers Comedy Club in Claremont. There is no cover charge, but there is a one item minimum per person.
