The University of La Verne Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum met on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 9 a.m. in the West Dining Room.
The Forum discussed upcoming events as well to allocate funds to organizations.
·Melissa Galaviz was voted into the senator position.
·The benefit show was postponed. A formal proposal will have to be made.
·Peter Iadicola will be speaking on Thursday, March 8, at 10:30 a.m. in La Fetra Hall.
·The Forum overturned the Model United Nations (MUN) veto.
·ASF will be cosponsoring Body Awareness Week at the end of March.
·ASF will be putting out a newsletter titled “The Leopard.”
·Phi Delta Theta’s resolution for $2000 for their formal was vetoed.
·The Forum will be looking into purchasing an amplifier for the Student Center. An allowed expense for the amplifier will be decided at the next meeting.
·The Forum will be discussing an all-day Ping-Pong tournament and an all-day softball tournament.
·The dates for Commuter Daze are being changed to April 2 and 3.
·New copy card machines will be installed during the summer that will allow students to make copies more easily.
