Two new exhibitions open at the Getty Museum this week. The first, “Devices of Wonder,” features nearly 400 objects from the 1600s to the present. The other exhibit is “Manuel Alvarez Bravo: Optical Parables,” which claims to trace the artistic evolution of Bravo’s photography. Both exhibits run through February.
