The Department of Theater Arts, Associated Students Federation Forum and the Institute for Conscious Acting is presenting public lectures at 7:30 p.m., Fridays March 8 and 15, at the Cabaret Theater. On March 8 Glada McIntyre will share her discussion on “Making Contact with Tutelary Deity in Nature.” Barbara Lamb will discuss “Crop Circles Revealed in England” on March 15. The Getty Museum continues its “Free Friday Nights” series starting March 15 at 7:30 p.m. Highlights for upcoming events include funk band “The Breadestra;” cult favorite “The Resentments;” the “Dance Camera West Festival” of dance on film and video; vocalist Judith Owen and multi-instrumentalist Mark-Ramos Nishita (a.k.a. Money Mark of the Beastie Boys). Performance reservations are required before attending. Although admission is free, there will be a $5 charge for parking.
