‘This is Our Youth’

The Department of Theater Arts is presenting the play “This is Our Youth,” written by Kenneth Lonergan and directed by Obren Milanovic, 7:30 p.m., today and tomorrow in Dailey Theater. The play promises to cover a variety of topics, including apathy, sex, drugs and death. For audiences only. Admission is free, but seating is limited. For more information call ext. 4386.

Diversity Film Series

The international/intercultural film series “How Does Our Garden Grow” is being presented free to the public from 7 to 10 p.m., tonight in La Fetra Auditorium. The film that will be shown is “Girlfight,” which is about a young woman who wants to be a boxer. For more information call ext. 4352.

Photography Exhibition

The Department of Art and Art History is presenting a painting and photography exhibition by Brian Forrest and Nancy Monk April 8 to May 3. Forrest will show his black and white photos taken in the Mojave Desert. His works will focus on the natural shapes left on the largely, empty land. Monk will present painted photographs of spring, its colors and subjects. Her perception of the reality of her subjects will be shown. Opening reception night is from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday.
