Fans flock to NHRA Fanfest

One week before the professional drag racers hit the track at Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, the NHRA Fanfest takes place on D Street in La Verne. Drag racing fans from all over came to check out classic cars, racing team information booths, professional driver appearances, and dragster engine revving demonstrations. One of those demonstration dragsters was the world champion 1971 Schultz and Glenn Top Fuel Eliminator, which holds the Guinness World Record holder for most consecutive wins, with 21. World champion drag racer, Gerry Glenn, and team member, Troy Glenn, work on a leak in the fuel line after the demonstration. 1. I just found this but thanks for the photo and the recognition. It’s things like this that makes what we do worth it. We are trying to keep a little history alive and were lucky enough to get the two main players involved in the Championship Run, in 71, back with their Championship Car. Bill Schultz and Gerry Glenn. Bill was there with us that day too. Thanks again. Troy Glenn
