Tall Wall Space 

“Edifice Artifice” by Cole M. James is currently on display in the Tall Wall Space in the Arts and Communications Building. The site-specific installation includes materials such as velvet, lace, glitter and concrete. 

The exhibit runs through May 17, 2019. 

Admission is free. 

‘Distancing’

The Carlson Gallery in Miller Hall currently features “Distancing” by Kes Efstathiou. The exhibit of black and white silkscreen prints of landscape photographs will run through Dec. 14. 

Admission is free. 

Guitar Recital

The University of La Verne Guitar Ensemble will perform contemporary flamenco and Latin jazz music at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in Morgan Auditorium. 

Admission is free. 

West African Drum Recital 

Students in the West African Drumming class will present a night dedicated to the percussive traditions of West Africa, combining the historic hand drum, djembe, with other instruments at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in Morgan Auditorium. 

Admission is free. 

Chinese Lantern Festival 

Over 1,000 handcrafted lanterns, live Kung-Fu and Chinese martial arts performances, and a variety of different Asian food options will be available during the Fairplex Chinese Lantern Festival through Jan. 6.

Chorale Holiday Spectacular 

The Chamber Singers and Chorale will perform renditions of traditional and classic Christmas songs at their annual holiday concert at 6 p.m. Dec. 9 in Morgan Auditorium.
