Rafael Liebich, pianist and artist in residence, will perform timeless pieces from Bach, Scarlatti, Beethoven, Debussy, Villa-Lobos and more at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Auditorium.

‘Best of La Verne’
An annual tradition, the music department will feature a collaboration of faculty and students as they come together to display their various musical talents in a year-end concert.
The “Best of La Verne” performance will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium.

‘Broadway Showcase’
The University Chorale and Chamber Singers will present their show, “Broadway Showcase,” at 7:30 p.m. May 10 and 11 in Dailey Theatre.
A suggested donation of $10 is requested at the door.
‘Bright Star’
The Candlelight Pavilion in Claremont is currently featuring Broadway’s “Bright Star,” which tells a story of love, loss and redemption during the 1920s and 1940s set in the deep South, featuring a Grammy-nominated score by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. The show runs through May 25.

Claremont Symphony
The Claremont Symphony Orchestra will host a free concert directed by Robert Sage in honor of its 36th season.
The concert will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Bridges Hall of Music at 150 E. Fourth Street in Claremont on the Pomona College campus.
