ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne’s Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum met Wednesday in the West Dining Room at 9:33 a.m.

The Forum attended to the preparations for Homecoming Week, which will take place on Oct. 9-14. The Forum also allocated funds and elections for Vice President of Activities took place.

Resolutions

·ASF allocated $1,100 to La Vernacula to help pay for photo expenses.

·ASF held elections and voted Crystal Apilado for Vice President of Activities.

·The Forum also allocated $500 to provide for shuttle service during Homecoming Weekend.

·The amount of $17,000 was allocated to reserve a facility for Winter Extravaganza.

The University’s annual homecoming festivities began with a 5K run on Saturday that started on the Citrus Lawn, next was the street fair on C and Second streets in front of the Campus Center, then the Mission Brewing pre-game party in the Quad. The evening ended with  the Homecoming football game 

Homecoming event honors Hispanic cuisine

To kick off Homecoming Weekend, the Office of Alumni Engagement created the Taste of ULV for alumni to gather together and reminisce about their times at the University while also celebrating all the different places students and faculty come from.
