The University of La Verne Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 9 a.m. in the West Dining Room.
The Forum discussed upcoming events as well as allocate funds to organizations.
Resolutions
·The Forum allocated $4,000 to the purchase of coin cards to use for laundry in the residence halls.
·Elections will be held in the next weekly meeting for the following positions: senator and public relations.
·The Forum allocated $1,270 for a speaker on March 8 at La Fetra. She will be speaking on violence.
·The location of the Benefit Show on March 2 has been changed, new location to be determined.
·The Forum allocated $400 to the Career Development Center to pay expenses for Career Fair.
·The amount of $3,575 was allocated to the Theatre Arts Department to pay for expenses for the event that features John O’Neal.
·The Forum allocated $3,390 to the Model United Nations for its conference.
·Intramurals will be held on Thursdays.
·Commuter Day will be held on March 19-20. Time will be determined.
