Interterm Offering
Composing in Digital Environments, a new class offered during January Interterm, is designed for non-technical majors. The course provides a basic knowledge of how the media operates on their own and in relation to traditional forms. The course is worth three semester hours and will meet Monday, Tuesday and Friday at 8 a.m. For more information, call ext. 4360.
ULV Professor wins Aurora Awards
Rod Pyle, assistant professor of communications, and his production company Cinema Pacific Productions recently took home five awards for five films, “Star Trek Reel,” “Extreme Explosives,” “Kittens,” “Ken Hillman Political” and “LA Philharmonic.” Pyle was involved in the various films as editor, director, producer and writer.
Listening Party
KULV will hold a listening party today and tomorrow in the Student Center in front of the TV.
The station encourage all to attend, listen and cheer the Lady Leos volleyball team to victory in their quest for the championship in Whitewater, Wis.
Friday night the women will play Juniata.
An depending on the outcome of that game, they might play for the championship.
