ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne’s Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum met last Wednesday in the West Dining Room at 9:11 a.m.

The Forum attended to the discharge of business and largely therein to the allotment of funds to numerous clubs and organizations for special events and requests.

Resolutions

·ASF voted in resolution to aide the Latino Student Forum with their “Bienvenida Dinner” by allotting $1,570 from the activities budget for the event.

·After presenting a request to the Forum, Voices of Independent and Educated Women representative Natalie Fowle was granted $1,200 for her organization to co-sponsor the viewing of a documentary on women’s involvement in World War II.

·The Forum agreed to assist the Iota Delta Sorority in their annual participation in the national “Clothesline Project.” ASF granted the sorority $125 to help with the event.

·Sigma Alpha Epsilon representative Anthony Granillo was given $650 by the Forum for his fraternity’s annual spring formal.

·ASF voted to give the Afrikan-American Student Association and the Floor Two Crew $800 to help produce their “Slam N’ Jam” contest which is scheduled for late March.

·The Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority was given $650 by the forum to alleviate expenditures with their Sapphire Ball.
