·”American Psycho,” based on Bret Easton Ellis’ novel, revolves around an ’80s well-to-do yuppie who also happens to be a serial killer. It stars Christian Bale, Willem Dafoe, Jared Leto and Reese Witherspoon.

·In “28 Days,” Sandra Bullock stars as a newspaper writer forced to enter a rehab center for drug and alcohol abuse.

·Tomorrow a sneak preview of “Frequency,” a thriller starring Dennis Quaid and Edward Burns, will be at participating theaters. Check listings-movie opens April 28.

·”Gossip,” a thriller about three college students who’s simple lies take a frightening turn opens April 21. Joshua Jackson of TV’s “Dawson Creek” and Kate Hudson star.

·Also opening April 21 is “U-571,” a World War II thriller about the U.S. Navy’s attempt to steal Nazi secrets. Matthew McConaughey and Harvey Keitel star.

Tickets on Sale

·Tickets for No Doubt and Lit at Irvine Meadows on July 25 go on sale tomorrow at 10 a.m.

·Also tomorrow, tickets go on sale at noon for Smashing Pumpkins’ May 23 performance at the Universal Ampitheatre.

Music Concert

Today at 7:30 p.m. in Founders Auditorium there will be a chamber ensemble performance. Martin Chalifour (concertmaster of the L.A. Philharmonic) will play violin. Timothy Durkovic will play piano and Timothy Landauer will play cello. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students
