Halloween Pet Safety
The Inland Valley Humane Society recommends that the following precautions for Halloween pet safety:
·Do not take pets along while trick-or-treating. They can easily become frightened or lost.
·Do not feed Halloween candy to your pet. They can make the animal very sick or in some cases prove toxic.
·If you own a black cat, be aware that your pet could be the victim of a cruel Halloween prank. You may want to keep your cat in doors a few days prior to Halloween also.
·To be safe, keep all pets indoors during both Halloween day and night.
