Downtown Disney, Anaheim’s newest Disney venture, is definitely living up to its name by providing the energy, excitement and culture of some of the most famous cities around.

The Marketplace at Downtown Disney yields unique, diverse shops and restaurants such as Disney art galleries and the Rainforest Café.

There are also “fun fountains” for children at the Downtown Disney Marketplace.

To add to all that excitement, the legendary House of Blues has become a part of the Downtown Disney District, as well as the adjacent House of Blues restaurant. The Dance Hall Crashers will be performing tonight, at 8 p.m. Prices are $15 for all ages.

The ESPN Zone is a haven for sports fans, where anyone interested in the NCAA Final Four can watch the games.

Downtown Disney also has a 60,000-square foot AMC theater inspired by the classic Hollywood style and atmosphere.

Downtown Disney is on Ball Road next to Disneyland. The first three hours of parking are free, and each additional hour is $6.

The Downtown Disney District is open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
