The University Chorale and Chamber Singers presents “Candlelight Christmas” featuring music to ring in the holiday season. The concert starts at 8 p.m. tonight and tomorrow in Founders Auditorium. General admission is $5. Students are free.
The University of La Verne Art Department will display an exhibition of senior art projects at 5 p.m., Dec. 15 in the Harris Art Gallery. The exhibit, which is called “Monsters,” will feature work from seniors Alycia Anthony, Cecilia Covarrubias, Kimberly Lambright, Steven Lau, LaVenna Ware and Amy Wolf. “Black and White IV,” an exhibit of work by elementary photography students is on display in the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography. The exhibit will be in the gallery until Dec. 18. The Latino Art Museum presents “Persistence of the Dreams: A Magic Exhibition of Leather Masks” at 6 p.m., Dec. 13. The exhibit features single pieces of genuine leather, handcrafted collections of masks. The museum is located in the Village Plaza in Claremont.
Opening today in theaters are “Love Don’t Cost A Thing,” starring Nick Cannon and Christina Milan and “Something’s Gotta Give,” starring Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton.
In theaters Dec. 17 will be “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.” The third installment of the trilogy features Elijah Wood and Liv Tyler.
