Cultivating a green thumb

Tianna Cano, sophomore computer science major and Botany and Gardening Club president, works in the University of La Verne community garden. The garden, located behind the Health Center on E Street, was originally started by alumna Cassidy Furnari in 2015. Cano said she became involved because gardening reminds her of her great-grandmother, who she used to garden with before she passed away.
