Nancy Jane Matthews Fund

A car wash will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Carl’s Jr. on the corner of Foothill Blvd. and Wheeler Ave. in La Verne. All benefits will go to the Nancy Jane Matthews Fund. Matthews, a ULV student, was seriously injured in a car accident on July 6. She suffered major head trauma and remains in a coma.

New Weight Room Hours

The weight room is now open from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. from Monday through Friday. It is located in the tents across from the Athletic Office. ULV identification card is needed.

Two Take Positions at Law School

The University of La Verne College of Law in Ontario has a new addition to their faculty as Kenneth Held, Dean of the University, appointed Teresa Buchheit Klinkner in spring 2002. Her position became effective July 1. Before taking this position, Klinkner was a senior attorney with Richards, Watson & Gershon in Los Angeles. Klinkner also taught Property and Basic Legal Skills courses at Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.

Additionally, Kenneth Rudolf was recently appointed head of the law library at the University of La Verne College of Law in Ontario.

Prior to this, Rudolf worked at the Lillian Goldman Library at Yale Law School as the head of reference for 12 years.

He obtained his master of librarianship, J.D. degree and certificate in law librarianship from the University of Washington.
