Baroque Music
The University of La Verne department of music presents “An Evening of Baroque Music” at 7 p.m. tonight in the ULV Chapel. The event will feature music by Bach, Handel, Leonarda, Vivaldi, and Francisque. Admission is free.
Beethoven Trio
The Beethoven Project trio will be performing at 8 p.m. in Founders Auditorium. Project members include Margaret Parkins, cello, Genevieve Feiwen Lee, piano, and Sara Parkins, violin. General admission is $5, students are free.
Movies
Premiering in theaters everywhere is “Anger Management” starring Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson.
Also opening today is “House of 1,000 Corpses.” This is rock star Rob Zombie’s directorial debut about a group of teens trapped in a road-side museum.
